Pulpa Festival
The “Pulpa Festival” is the street art and urban art event that since 2021 has transformed Montesilvano into a true open-air gallery.
Created to regenerate anonymous urban spaces, involve the community and promote urban care, prevention of decay and reflection on social and environmental themes, it has produced dozens of permanent murals across the city through live painting, graffiti battles, workshops and the participation of 70 international and local artists. The works are concentrated in both central and peripheral areas such as Via Saragat, Viale Europa, Palazzo Baldoni in Piazza Montanelli and Via Rimini.
Today there are more than 60 murals in total, with explanations accessible through a digital QR tour. The interactive map is available on pulpafestival.it/mappe or on streetartcities.com. Pulpa Tours are also organised: guided tours that allow visitors to discover the works, including highlights by major artists of this artistic current such as Solo & Diamond, Pixel Pancho, Raul, Neve, Mandi Oh, Leticia Mandragora, Amara Por Dios and many others, who have worked on themes such as nature, interculture, social cohesion and urban heroes.
A must for street art lovers: walk through Montesilvano among vivid colours, painted stories and a youthful vibe that makes the city more vibrant and attractive all year round.
